I was inspired by some different artists I’d seen online that had created the illusion that their compositions were constructed with different materials lined with gold foil.

Using Illustrator and then Photoshop, I created this image. I’ve been meaning to go back and possibly add more, but part of me thinks the almost bleak gray of the background reflects the winter setting. If anything, I’d tone down the gold foil a bit as I think it gets too bright at places.
